Smart Hockey

RMHS announces our partnership with Smart Hockey. They have mastered the ultimate off-ice training stickhandling ball. Another reason why this makes RMHS the best hockey training both on and off-ice you can receive in North America.

In 1994, fueled by the inadequacies of conventional inline chassis technologies like the Hi-Lo® and V-form®, smart|hockey set out to create a chassis which mimicked the the geometry of an ice skate blade. By 1997, c|saw™ chassis technology was born and quickly adopted by Bauer Nike Hockey which paid for the right to use it exclusively on Bauer and Nike skates.

By duplicating the performance of an ice skate blade, smart|hockey not only unleashed a totally revolutionary game enhancing technology for roller hockey players, but it also opened the door to a plethora of off-season training possibilities for both ice and roller hockey players. In that vain, smart|hockey is now focused on providing off-season skills development products and information for both ice and roller hockey players.

Honey Stinger

In 1954, Ralph and Luella Gamber developed the EN-R-G Bar (“EN” for energy, “R” for Ralph and “G” for Gamber). They wanted to provide an alternative to the sugary candy bars available, so, as such, their plan was simple: wholesome ingredients, great taste and, as Ralph was a beekeeper, honey. They introduced two-ounce packets of honey with the words “quick energy” on the packaging. At the time, Ralph’s friend Roy Phillips, head wrestling coach at Franklin & Marshall College, used those packets to provide quick energy for his athletes. Although Ralph and Luella knew they were on to something, the market was not quite ready for energy foods.

Honger Stinger is one of the main sponsors this summer for RMHS and will provide our campers samples of the Honey Stinger products and will be the offcial sponsor of the RMHS hardest worker of the week. The winner will take home a box of Honey Stingers waffles for their hard work, attention to detail, and leadership  that they display both on and off the ice during their week of camp.

Summer Skates

RMHS is excited to announce another one of our new partners for this camps season with Summer Skates. We will be selling RMHS branded Summer Skates at all of our camps. Summer Skates has provided a pair of their Summer Skates for all of our staff members to show off and wear at all of our camps. Read below to find our more about their company and you will better understand why we are so excited about our partnership with this awesome company!

Experimenting with an idea in the basement of his parents' house could make Myles Doak's idea bigger than he ever imagined.

Back in the summer of 2012, Doak thought a pair of flip-flops could have an appealing look with hockey laces as the sandal bridge back. So while he was home from college in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, Doak started sewing hockey laces together, built a few dozen prototypes and looked for a manufacturer.

The result is SummerSkates, which now offers multiple products and gained NHL preferred vendor status and a multi-year global NHLPA license. SummerSkates recently became a manufacturer member of the Hockey Dealers Association (HDA), which is a division of National Sporting Goods Association (NSGA).
